器身與釉藥皆使用花坂陶石。
將九谷燒黏土製作過程中產生的材料，以及被作為雜質去除的陶石，重新利用為釉藥原料。
柔和而美麗的米色，是展現土壤原始風貌的色彩。
HANASAKA是由谷口製土所創立的陶瓷品牌，該公司一直以來都負責製作九谷燒的原料黏土。
不同於以九谷五彩為代表的華麗彩繪，HANASAKA專注於土壤本身的創作。
重新審視支撐九谷燒的材料與工藝，將土壤所蘊含的質感與功能美，以現代器皿的形式呈現。
