＜DEVO＞
於1973年，由馬克和傑瑞兩人在俄亥俄州阿克倫組成的搖滾樂團。
他們以將洗衣機帶上舞台等前衛的表演風格，從獨立樂團時期就獲得高度知名度。
於1978年正式出道，同年發行首張專輯《頽廃的美學論》。
隔年發行第二張專輯《生存學未來編》，並首次在日本舉行演唱會。
作為新浪潮藝術家首次在日本武道館舉行的演出實況，連續一週在電視上播出，在日本掀起了一股DEVO熱潮。
此後，他們選擇日本作為世界巡迴演唱會的起點，在日本國內獲得了眾多狂熱粉絲。
於1990年發表第八張專輯後，雖然活動一度停止，但在2003年舉行了暌違23年的日本演唱會。
於2010年發行了暌違約20年的原創專輯《Something for Everybody》。
他們至今仍在積極活躍，是傳奇性的藝術家。
