設計師川上淳也先生在20多歲的 LARGE 期間於舊金山度過， Secondhand Clothes 的倉庫中遇到的各種族群的自由力量深深影響了他。
回國後，他開始逐漸根據當時的經歷進行自我表達， Secondhand Clothes 的解構與重建，以及當時遇到的人的自由個性融入的設計，最終確立為＜ SEVEN BY SEVEN ＞（該地的愛稱）。
隨意穿搭的斯 TIE 爾是舊金山的風格，而工裝的堅韌則是樸實的美感。
