本著「事物之美的本質在於形體」的理念，
其中，使用的理由與意義都已預先安排妥當。
本作品是金屬工藝作家杉島大樹先生的創作。
辨識出符合用途的形狀，僅選取必要工序的製作態度，在器皿中展現出靜謐的存在感。
作為斟日本酒的酒器自不在話下，亦可作為盛裝料理的器皿或空間點綴。
從日常小酌，到想轉換心情的時刻，這是一款能輕鬆融入各種情境的單品。
素材使用銅，內部則施以錫鍍層。
在活用素材特性的同時，也進行了考量日常使用的精加工。

藝術家簡介
1976年出生於岐阜縣
2001年 廣島市立大學藝術研究科雕塑專業碩士課程修畢，師從鬼頭正信學習金屬加工
2002年 師從土屋豐學習鍛造
2008年 在長野縣伊那市獨立
2011年 將工房與住所遷至駒根市
以金屬雕塑和鍛金技法為背景進行創作。秉持「所有美麗形體皆有其意義」的理念，珍視自然引導下的造型。
