美濃燒是日本三大陶瓷產地之一。
據傳自平安時代起，這裡就開始燒製灰釉陶器（一種以植物灰燼為原料上釉的陶瓷）。

松助窯於江戶時代後期創立於岐阜縣土岐市下石。
擁有約180年的歷史，是一家輩出傳統工藝師的著名窯元。
窯元重視世代相傳的技藝，並致力於活用材料的創作。
