Drakes was founded in 1977 in Clerkenwell, London. One of the founders, Mr.MichaelDrake(Michael Drake), was active as a designer at Aquascutum and is also known as a planner who launched projects such asSmall Accessories and JEWELRY , aside from COAT . Their designs are traditional yet elegant, hinting at a new direction for British style. The patterns are designed to be sensitive to the flow of the times while always embodying a traditional mindset, making them easy to use in everyday life. All designs are planned by Michael himself and his design team in London, using only high-quality natural fibers, produced in Europe, including England and Scotland.
