Established in 1733. The history of the Piacenza family's wool textiles, reputed to be the oldest in the world, dates back to the 1600s, with the company founded in the Biella region of Piedmont, Italy, where it has continued its legacy.
It is a member of the Hénokiens Association, an international organization of long-established companies that only permits membership to businesses with over 200 years of family history.
Even today, PIACENZA carefully raises the nap of its fabrics using dried thistle burrs, a time-honored process that has become an icon of the brand.
