<MINO WARE>
Mino Ware is known as one of Japan's three major pottery producing regions.
It is said that ash-glazed pottery (kaiyu-toki: pottery glazed with ash from plants) has been fired there since the Heian period.

<MATSUKE KILN>
Established in Shimogame, Toki City, Gifu Prefecture, during the late Edo period.
It is a distinguished kiln with approximately 180 years of history, producing master traditional craftsmen.
The kiln values craftsmanship that has been passed down for many years, along with manufacturing that makes the most of its materials.
