<MINO WARE>
Mino Ware is renowned as one of Japan's three major pottery producing regions. It is said that ash-glazed pottery (kaiyū-tōki: pottery glazed with ash derived from plants) has been produced here since the Heian period.

<MATSUKE KILN>
Established in the late Edo period in Oroshi, Toki City, Gifu Prefecture. With a history spanning approximately 180 years, it is a prestigious kiln that has produced master traditional craftsmen. The kiln continues to create pottery that leverages techniques cultivated over many years and the inherent beauty of its materials.
