La marque ＜Camoshita＞ a été lancée lors de la saison printemps-été 2008, après sa première participation à Pitti Immagine Uomo en 2007.
Créée par Yasuhito Kamoshita, conseiller créatif de UNITED ARROWS, la marque s'articule autour du concept « vêtements occidentaux, fierté japonaise ». Elle propose un « classique japonais » tel qu'il est perçu par les Japonais, sans extravagance ni zèle excessif pour la tradition japonaise, mais en l'abordant avec une approche naturelle, et en construisant des styles de « Japanese Classic ».
