We have released four types of T-shirts created for the pop-up of Cafe Royal Books (CRB) at ROKU AOYAMA, directed by Manila Books Gift, a Nagoya-based specialty store that mainly handles imported zines, art books, and artist goods.
This photo, "Nothing Hill Carnival 1974," is by Canadian photographer Chris Miles, who has long been taking photographs as art.
By incorporating the cover of the zine directly onto a T-shirt, it goes beyond being a simple photo T-shirt and has an even more striking visual appeal.
Nothing Hill Carnival is a reggae carnival held every August in Notting Hill, London, featuring people of Jamaican roots.
