Artist Profile
Born in Gifu Prefecture in 1976
2001: Completed Master's program in Sculpture at Hiroshima City University Graduate School of Arts; studied metalworking under Masanobu Kito.
2002: Studied blacksmithing under Yutaka Tsuchiya.
2008: Established independent studio in Ina City, Nagano Prefecture.
2011: Relocated studio and residence to Komagane City.
Creates works based on metal sculpture and metal hammering techniques. Guided by the philosophy that "every beautiful form holds a deeper meaning," he values forms inspired by nature.
