Founded in 2018 in Copenhagen, Denmark by Kim Kyungmin and Hong Seyoung.
The name "BIRROT" originates from the Korean word "birrot-hada", meaning "to develop" or "to depict the process leading to a conclusion".
It is a womenswear brand that proposes Scandinavian minimalism and Korean silhouettes, exploring how the balance and values of these two cultures influence each other.
By introducing curves and asymmetry into traditional tailoring techniques, the brand pursues a design philosophy that is more free and expressive.
