La Hutte (La Yutte) is derived from a Boy Scout organization founded in 1922.
Until the 1930s, it was based in Paris and sold Boy Scout uniforms and other items.
Gradually, it expanded its business to include the manufacturing and sale of camping gear and tents,LARGE and sold products marked with its logo.
In 1968, it partnered with other companies and continued sales in urban and mountainous areas after 1989.
Although it paused its activities in the late 1990s, it made a restart in Japan in 2023.
