These pants feature a technique from the knee down that is symbolic of Indian appliqué culture, in which cutwork is applied to the surface fabric to create shapes.
The appliqués are hand-sewn one stitch at a time, resulting in a beautiful finish even when viewed from the back.
In addition, each cutwork part of the fabric is embroidered freehand.

The base fabric is made from organic cotton and is finished in a firm plain weave that is unique to India, retaining the unique texture of the grain and neps.
