The original buttons and back parts are intentionally left unpainted to create a beautiful texture that develops over time. This is a sophisticated design that has been meticulously finished down to the smallest details.

The designer has collected over thousands of garments from 70 to 100 years ago through antique dealers and art dealers in the countries where he has lived since his teenage years, researching clothing that exists now or in the future from an archaeological perspective. Designer Masashi Takahashi was born in 1995. He entered the London International School of Arts in 2010 and progressed to Central Saint Martins in 2013. In 2015, he gained experience as a design assistant in Antwerp, Belgium, and at a maison in London.
