Mamie Knit Cardigan/012C-HN2

"Mamie" is hand-knitted by women working in Almora, Uttarakhand, in northern India.
This is a series in which we create things together with these women and aim to grow together.

■Design
This voluminous, loose knit has a compact length that gives it a sharp look.
It features the unevenness of the thick yarn that is unique to hand-knitted fabric, and is made with a complex knitting pattern.

■Material
Much of the wool that is harvested is difficult to transport down to town, and is therefore left abandoned in the Himalayan mountains.
Instead of discarding this wool, we spun it into yarn and sent it to women living at the foot of the Himalayas to hand-knit.

■ Coordination
It goes well with the Trinity series pants (product number: 89516990036), so we recommend coordinating it with them.
