Started in 1902 in Alexander City, Alabama, by Benjamin Russell. In the early 1920s, it created the world's firstSweatshirtSHIRTprototype and developed the world's first Rubber print in 1938 (the prototype of the current American Rubber print). After that, using that technology, it popularized Sweatshirt with school names and logos in bookstores across the country for uniforms of schools and colleges.
