Bag craftsman Ryuu Ushio was born in Kobe in 1978. Growing up in a family where his mother was a craftsman, he became familiar with sewing machines from a young age and began making bags on his own using a sewing machine he found at home. Later, he apprenticed under a bag craftsman inLARGE Osaka. There, he learned the techniques for handling various leather characteristics and patterns, and establishedBellago in 2003. Currently, he handles all processes from bags to leather goods, focusing on custom orders.
