This graphic T-shirt from <THE CULTURE CODE> is designed using the works of photographer Jamie Morgan, set against the backdrop of the "Buffalo" vibe that symbolized London's street culture in the 1980s.
While taking inspiration from cassette tapes, which were also a source of inspiration for fashion photography at the time, the design adopts a method of cutting out and reconfiguring the text "1985-REMIX Buffalo" written on masking tape, rather than printing the tape itself large.
Although the theme is strongly cultural, the design avoids large prints and places photographs within the text, resulting in a balanced look that works well even as an inner layer under a jacket.
This is the first attempt to reconstruct Jamie Morgan's work as a collage while honoring his achievements, and it is an exclusive item for <UNITED ARROWS> that reconfigures parts of his work.
It has a natural presence when worn alone, and when paired as an inner layer with a shirt or jacket, it allows you to enjoy a subtle, culture-infused urban style, making it a fitting addition to an adult's wardrobe.

<Jamie Morgan>
Jamie Morgan is a photographer who symbolized 90s London youth culture. Closely tied to street and music scenes, he established a real and improvisational style of expression, devoid of excessive direction. Active in publications like i-D and The Face, he also played a crucial role in the context of Britpop acts such as Blur and Oasis. Alongside stylist Ray Petri, he spearheaded the movement of the legendary creative collective "Buffalo," presenting diversity and a new aesthetic. His visual language, which affirmed incompleteness and imbalance, continues to influence the contemporary fashion's focus on realism.
