It is lavishly adorned with intricate river lace. By layering three types of lace to form a single pattern, it is crafted to have a moderate transparency by joining rather than sewing it onto FABRIC .
■ Material
We use a loosely woven linen unique to India. It has a refreshing feel that allows the breeze to pass through, yet it is not overly sheer when worn alone. The river lace placed onCAMISOLE is born from a bobbin lace machine developed in England in the early 19th century, boasting a history of over 100 years. The sight of 5,000 bobbins, each threaded by hand, embodies a soft texture and warm beauty.
