’47 (Forty-Seven) started in 1947 in Boston, USA, as a casual lifestyle brand. TIE It was founded by twin brothers Arthur and Henry DiAngelo, Italian immigrants, who established Twins Enterprises, the predecessor of ’47, and began selling pennants and souvenirs around Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red SOCKS Sox.
Since then, the business has expanded into the manufacturing and sales of headwear and apparel that fuse sports and fashion, and it is now partnered with MLB (Major League Baseball).
