La Hutte (La Yutte) originated from a Boy Scout organization established in 1922. Until the 1930s, it was based in Paris and sold Boy Scout uniforms. Gradually, it expanded its business to the manufacturing and sale of camping gear and tents, selling products marked with its logo. In 1968, it partnered with other companies and continued sales in urban and mountainous areas from 1989 onwards. Although it paused its activities in the late 1990s, it made a restart in Japan in 2023.
