This project uniquely directs the works created by art director NaitoIron and incorporates them into clothing and printed materials.
"Rare metal means 'a small amount of existence in the crust.'
My collage progresses by creating invisible layers, applying multiple layers until it reaches a visible completion. The scenes I want to capture momentarily become Naito's photographic works. It is like a situational photograph measured and taken during the excavation process, something that becomes buried and invisible, but for me, it is a poignant image or part. I felt that the way that image exists connects to 'rare metal,' which is why I named the project."
Graphics based on photographs from his own archive have been incorporated into apparel, and those photographs are images captured from the collage work using macro LENS .
