Born in Chiba Prefecture in 1973.
Completed postgraduate studies at Tokyo Glass Art Institute in 2000.
Established 'gla_gla' in Tsukikara, Toyako-cho, Hokkaido in 2002.
Since then, he has engaged in a wide range of activities, including exhibitions and outdoor installations both domestically and internationally, collaborations with architects, and providing works for corporate and video productions.
His characteristic colorless, transparent glass is created piece by piece using the 'chu-buki' (free-blowing) technique, where molten glass is shaped in the air without molds.
The narrative that emerges between the title and the glass itself forms the core of his work.
