[T.T / Taiga Takahashi] VARSITY L ETTE RMAN/ KNIT

This sweater is modeled after the American varsity letterman sweaters of the 1950s.
Mr. Takahashi, captivated by early American sportswear, drew inspiration from a vintage pullover he acquired in California to create this sweater.
Silk By using nep yarn, it achieves a soft texture and a matte, rough feel.

BRAS The concept is "reviving relics of the past to unearth artifacts of the future."
The designer has collected thousands of garments over 70 to 100 years old through antique dealers and art merchants in the countries he has lived in since his teenage years, studying clothing that exists now or in the future from an archaeological perspective.
Designer Masashi Takahashi was born in 1995. He entered the London International School of Arts in 2010 and progressed to Central Saint Martins in 2013.
In 2015, he gained experience as a design assistant in Antwerp, Belgium, and at a maison in London.
After graduating from the same school in 2017, he established Taiga Takahashi , Inc. in New York.
