【Technical Comfort System】 Considering comfort, we use an original material developed specifically for this purpose. Based on the fitting and design philosophy of leather shoes, we created a wooden mold with the assumption of including a specific feature. We combine three types of materials with different thicknesses and elasticity to account for sagging and sinking.
The shoes are finished using the McKay method, which is rich in flexibility.
■ Manufacturing Method: The McKay method directly stitches the upper and sole together, a traditional Italian method that allows for a simple structure, resulting in good flexibility and the ability to make shoes from soft leather. The characteristic of the McKay method is that you can feel a snug fit that wraps around your foot as you wear them. This method is often used in coin loafers and smart shoes.
