Founded in 1733. The history of the Piacenza family's wool textiles, said to be the world's oldest, dates back to the 1600s. The company was established in the Biella district of Piedmont, Italy, a renowned region for luxury wool fabrics, and has continued its legacy there.
It is a member of the Henokiens Association, an international organization of long-established companies, which only allows businesses with over 200 years of family history to join.
Even today, <PIACENZA> uses dried thistle heads to carefully raise the nap over time. This has become an icon of the brand.
