To commemorate the opening of the exhibition at the art gallery <AMATEUR> Vol.6 at the H BEAUTY&YOUTH Aoyama store, we have specially produced original T-shirts featuring the work of artist Satoshi Okano.
＜Satoshi Okano＞
Born in 1979, from Saitama Prefecture.
Graduated from the Department of Oil Painting, Faculty of Art and Design, Musashino Art University in 2004.
He is currently based in Tokyo.
He paints strange and humorous landscapes using a technique he developed himself using airbrushes and pencils.
The themes of his work include consideration of the subject and experimentation with techniques, and the resulting inconsistencies are what make his works so appealing.

Taku Sato, director of PARCEL, a contemporary art gallery in Bakurocho that combines the characteristics of both a commercial gallery and a project space, has teamed up with H BEAUTY&YOUTH to create a gallery with a new approach to curation that utilizes the amateur nature of both fashion and art as a factor.
