A nationally designated traditional craft that showcases the uniform and beautiful grain of natural wood.
This is a Magewappa Ohitsu (rice container).
It moderately absorbs heat and moisture, allowing you to enjoy delicious rice.
It is a regional masterpiece with a bright and elegant texture, lightweight yet rich in strength and elasticity.
・No urethane coating.
<Ohitsu Care Instructions and Precautions>
・When first using, if the wood is dry, rice grains may stick easily, so please moisten the inside thoroughly with water before use.
・After use, rinse with a soft sponge or cloth without using detergent. (Detergent may soak into the wood.)
・After washing, wipe off moisture thoroughly and stand it upright to dry completely. If left face down, moisture can accumulate and cause discoloration.
・Since it has no coating, please do not put oily foods or items that may transfer color.
