The cord is not tied, but rather hangs long and sways beautifully.

The base fabric is a delicate plain weave made from tightly twisted cotton yarn woven with a small number of stitches per thread.
Voile fabric is woven with tightly twisted yarn, which reduces pilling and gives it a smooth feel.
