A dye made from a combination of natural dye and chemical dye using the inedible parts (bur) of chestnuts.
The natural dye was extracted over six months from chestnut burs produced in Ibaraki Prefecture, Iwama.
It is a material of moderate thickness.
The length covers the hips, allowing it to be worn casually over leggings.
