The loose, relaxed silhouette is accented by large double pockets, and while incorporating military elements in moderation, the fine stitching gives it a delicate and elegant look with a subdued work-like feel.
■Material
This chambray material was specially ordered and created based on the archives of a fabric manufacturer in Fukuyama, Hiroshima.
The warp threads are made of fine, tightly twisted indigo yarn and are dyed using a time-consuming dyeing method, while the weft threads are dyed gray yarns woven under tension, resulting in a rich coloring with a depth not found in regular chambray.
Its crisp texture and comfortable feel make it comfortable to wear even in hot weather. Another appealing feature of this material is the natural aging that occurs with repeated wear.
The buttons are made from natural bleached black pearl, which blends beautifully with the indigo color and enhances the overall elegant look.
■ Coordination
It can be worn in an American casual style with a cut-and-sew top and chinos, as well as in a more casual and elegant style with a knit and easy slacks.
Pair it with wool trousers for a sophisticated, casual look.
