A camisole lavishly decorated with exquisite river lace.
Three types of lace are layered together to form a single design, and by joining them together rather than sewing them onto the fabric, it is finished with just the right amount of transparency.
■Material
It uses plain woven linen, which has a loose weave that is unique to India.
It's cool and breezy, but not too see-through even when worn alone.
The Leavers lace used on the camisole is made on a bobbin lace machine that has over 100 years of history and was developed in England in the early 19th century.
The fabric is spun by hand from 5,000 bobbins, each with its own individual thread, giving it a soft texture and warm beauty.
