<HANASAKA> 7-Sun Plate

A versatile, medium-sized plate that showcases the natural beauty of clay

With a diameter of approximately 20.5cm, this plate is perfectly sized for everyday use.
Featuring a plain, matte texture, its understated and simple design enhances any dish.
It offers an expression distinct from Kutani ware's traditional colorful overglaze, allowing you to feel the very presence of the clay itself.
Versatile for main courses, serving dishes, or even one-plate meals, it naturally blends into daily dining, whether Japanese or Western cuisine.

Both the body and glaze use Hanasaka pottery stone.
The glaze is made by recycling pottery stone, which is typically removed as an impurity during the clay preparation process,
resulting in a soft, calm beige color.
This results in a quiet texture, characteristic of HANASAKA's dedication to its materials.

<HANASAKA>
HANASAKA is a pottery brand launched by Taniguchi Seidōsho, a company that has traditionally produced the clay raw materials for Kutani ware.
Unlike the vibrant overglaze designs characteristic of Kutani Gosai (Kutani's five traditional colors), HANASAKA focuses on craftsmanship that highlights the clay itself.
By re-examining the materials and processes that have supported Kutani ware, the brand proposes contemporary vessels that embody the natural expression and functional beauty of clay.
