The designer Junya Kawakami spent his twenties in San Francisco, where he was influenced by the diverse and free strength of various races he encountered during his daily visits to warehouses.
After returning to Japan, he gradually began to create his own EXTERIOR works based on those experiences, and the designs that incorporated the free personalities of the people he met at that time eventually established themselves as SEVEN BY SEVEN (the local nickname).
The loosely styled TIE silhouette reflects the spirit of San Francisco, and the toughness of workwear embodies a rustic beauty.
