A Japanese eyewear brand established in 2010 by Creative Director Yu Imaizumi.
The brand name "ayame" (彩目), meaning "colorful eyes," is inspired by the iris flower (ayame/菖蒲), a symbol of his hometown, Itako City, Ibaraki Prefecture.
It is a high-quality eyewear brand, with each pair meticulously polished by skilled artisans in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture, a region renowned worldwide for its advanced optical technology.
