<HANASAKA> bowl M

A bowl that embraces the natural expression of clay and gently integrates into your daily life.

This deep bowl measures approximately 11cm in diameter.
It is designed with a balanced shape, making it versatile for use as a rice bowl, soup bowl, or side dish.
Characterized by its plain, matte texture, it seamlessly blends into any table setting, complementing a wide range of dishes.
This bowl is suitable for various occasions, from rice to side dishes and desserts, and will accompany your daily meals, whether Japanese or Western.

Both the body and glaze are crafted from Hanasaka Pottery Stone.
Utilizing a glaze made from recycled pottery stone, which is typically removed as an impurity during the clay-making process,
it achieves a soft, calming beige color.
Its charm lies in the distinctive HANASAKA materiality, which highlights the inherent character of the clay.

<HANASAKA>
HANASAKA is a pottery brand launched by Taniguchi Seitojo, a company that has historically produced the clay raw material for Kutani ware.
Unlike the vibrant overglaze enamels epitomized by Kutani Gosae, HANASAKA focuses on crafting products that emphasize the clay itself.
By revisiting the materials and processes that have supported Kutani ware, they propose modern tableware that showcases the clay's natural expression and functional beauty.
