This is a collaboration with Yu Todoroki, who continues his activities as a creator while also managing a campsite in Kawakami Village, Nagano Prefecture.
Inspired by movie posters from the 1970s and 80s, as well as merchandise such as T-shirts and badges,SHIRT we have created this design.
This time, we have incorporated two types of graphics that match the summer mood into TSHIRT .
The Westering Sun
"Nishiyou" represents the summer mountains sinking in the western sun.TIE The graphic depicts a calm summer mountain, not a lush green one, and is inspired by Mount Hikoma, which can be seen from Todoroki's home.
MOTIF TheTIE title is a sample from a ScottishSMALL tale published in the 1940s with the same name.
