Both the body and the glaze are made from Hanasaka Tosseki (ceramic stone).
The glaze utilizes recycled ceramic stone, which would typically be removed as impurities during the clay preparation process,
and is fired to a soft, beautiful beige color.
This results in a calm, distinctive texture, characteristic of HANASAKA's commitment to its materials.

In contrast to the vibrant, decorative designs exemplified by Kutani's five colors, HANASAKA focuses on crafting objects that highlight the clay itself.
